Sweeney Todd. Wasn't old enough to go see it in cinema, so gave my mum some money to go buy it with the day it came out. Perfect Helena Bonham-Carter, Johnny Depp and Tim Burton combination, once again. I personally LOVE Johnnys singing voice, and I was incredibly envious of the outfits Helena got to wear. And as always, I got excited over Burton's directing skills You can always tell when he's directed the film...it just has "BURTON" stamped all over it.

I watched a few over the weekend. 30 days of night - fell asleep. vampires attack the town, mindless semi-gore and little story for my liking. www.imdb.com/title/tt0389722/Windchill - I thought this was a VERY good well thought out movie. You have to watch it carefully to make sense of it though. Typicaly a cliche horror at first. and then i nthe second half of the film it takes its own unique path. www.imdb.com/title/tt0486051/Shrooms - Fell asleep. These american kids go to island on holiday with a friend. to pretty much eat magic mushrooms and just be drugged up all weekend. then funny things start happening and they dont know whether its hallucinations due to the shrooms or real. very.. bland and boring. www.imdb.com/title/tt0492486/Poltergeist - hahah i watched it for the first time last night. awesome film www.imdb.com/title/tt0084516/

Watched stardust the other day. the plot outline is incredibly deceiving. I loved the entire film, it was very funny and had me chuckling the whole way through with its simple subtle gags. I'm really not one for love films. but this was very well written and very well acted. Fantasy adventure with a twist in my opinion. worth a watch www.imdb.com/title/tt0486655/

Shallow Al.
That's probably the only movie that I can watch and rewatch without getting bored half way through.

I saw Hellboy II last night, I've loved Guillermo del Toro since Pans Labyrinth. This movie definitely has a lot of Guillermo's own personal style to it when compared to the comics. It was quirky, full of beautiful fight scenes, and just all around beautiful cinematography. The only issue was that the character development was sort of lacking and the story-line fairly predictable.
