Sweet Sacrifice hit radio stations in the US today. I just called in a request. I'm going to do this twice a day every day!

GUYS!!! New pics from www.evanescence.com!!!!
Lookie:
For once, I am actually excited about the video. It looks much better than what was presented on CNN and maybe *just maybe* we'll get to see more of the guys. (Hey, you never know. Maybe these pics were put up just because they look good, not because they represent the major scenes of the vid. It's WU after all.)
[fangirl moment]Lastly, I have to say that Terry in gray owns. Totally. Kudos to whoever made him wear that. ;D [/fangirl moment]
(Special thanks to FBM for posting these. I just stole the links from there. )

I love the new pictures. ;D Too bad the video is going to be premiered when I'm away. I wish they could premiere just one day before, on April 4th. I guess I'll have to wait a while to watch it. Perhaps, I can stay up to midnight tomorrow and watch it then?

And the video has been ripped, thanks Ali over FMB. It's not a "direct" rip though, since she ripped both sound and video separately and then merged them back together. She says that the quality is good though.
I downloaded it, but still wondering if I'll watch it or not. Oh well, if I finish my school work, maybe I will. After all, if I don't now, I'll end up watching it tomorrow, at school, and I'll be using crappy headphones. And this will suck.
;D

Yeah, I love it too.
My comment over FMB:
Well I like it. I find that the creepiness of it fits really well with the song.
And finally, FINALLY, the guys are actually doing something. I am just so very glad that this isn't totally Amy-centered.
As for the random shots of bones and stuff, I do find them a bit annoying as I have trouble focusing on anything because there is too much going on.
Lastly, in term of the lack of storyline, I don't mind it.
So, overall, I think besides BMTL, this is my fav

I'm probably the only one who didn't like it that much. I really like the look of it, but I found it as a video as boring as "Lithium". It was cool that the guys got close-ups, though. And at the end, there was kind of a story, but it was so rushed, it took me several seconds to figure out what was going on. And the guys trying to find Amy (to hurt her? she looks kind of scared at the end) doesn't really have anything to do with the theme of the song. I guess I didn't get that part. The song's pretty much my favorite on the album, so maybe nothing would have been good enough for me. Or maybe I just have no attention span. I only get halfway through most movies before I want to quit and come back to them later, so...

This is my favourite video By far!!!
this is my take on it:
the video is all about the mind, and you can tell how strong Amy is in that video. And thats what the song is about. Amy breaking boundaries, finding strength. And the video the way it flashes and changes it messes with your mind, showing the insanity "its true, we're all a little bit insane" and at the end when John rips down the boundary between The Guys and Amy its like... An opened door *excuse the cliche* Amys moved on from the past...and all boundaries have gone that were preventing her Making music creatively and music that she loved. its just the band now. and she feels complete. and the video ends as it means to go on. The same with the album... And the drawings of the Human Anatomy just flows in with the meaning of the song and video.

^Well Amy did say the video was based on the movie "The Cell" and thats about the mind.
I haven't seen it yet, the pictures look pretty, but thats what I said about Lithium and that is a dead boring video. Going to AOL Music to see if it is up yet.

What 'live performance' where they talking about? All it was, was just Amy singing and a ba-jillion and one different images being flashed. I don't like music videos with no story in them; they could have made a point to the video...not just pyscho lunacy everything at once and Amy singing type video.

Yeah, there was less live performance in this than in Lithium or CMWYS. I just rewatched it, and I think I pinpointed what I don't like about it. It's very dreamlike and trippy, which doesn't suit the song. That would suit a dreamlike song, but "Sweet Sacrifice" isn't like that at all. A more visceral and real video would have been harder hitting and thus suited the song more. They tried to use the manic cutting to make it harder, but I don't think it worked all that well because it was overused, and it really grinds on my nerves by the end but that may be partially because I have a headache right now. I think I would have liked this video a lot more if they had slowed down the cutting and used it for, say, "Lacrymosa".
