Well, I'm not the type of person that would hold a grudge for too long, in the first place. Yeah, it's always sad to see members leaving but, if the absence of some members helps to cause the remaining members to be at a healthier place, I don't see any reason why to hate them. Honestly, I don't see how Amy is a diva bitch or however people are trying to portray her. I guess some people just need to have reasons to hate sometimes, even if the reasons aren't really there.

I don't hate any of the members, I realize people need to leave. For instance, John and Rocky being let go, I'd of done the same thing, that'd never work out in my opinion being in two different bands.
What I was personally getting at in my previous post was, most people can't stand the band anymore due to the drama, they still love the music, its just the band as a whole they have problems with. Its sometimes hard to love a band when drama surrounds them.
I think the reason Amy is portrayed to some as a diva bitch etc., is because of some things she's said, whether there right or wrong, some people just take it as bitchy.

^^^Being in 2 bands isn't as much a problem as being in 2 bands which are with different labels. Pple can blame Amy for the whole thing if they wish, but in the end, I doubt that she's the one with the power.
And really I do agree with you on this topic Jess; whatever Amy does, it'll never be seen as right. What I really don't get is pple spending so much time making extra mean comments about celebrities. And the thing is, I bet that if these pple were to meet these celebrities, they would be awestruck and would totally suck up to them. lol
I bet that deep down, these pple are just jealous of the celebrities (and in this case, Amy) but that they just won't admit it.

we can't afford advertising and keep the boards free. there's always been a link from the front page though.

Robynn,
I think it's because of the long address.
Back on the old board all we had to do is type in fieldsofinnocence.com and it would take us straight to the forum. Now we can still type that but we have to click on a link for the forum. So... I donno. It's just a thought.
And normally people can't remember unquietvoid.proboards55.com so...

I bookmarked it, so I come straight here. We had to go to public boards to have leverage with certain banned members. Lots of stuff going on behind the scenes that no one else saw...illegal stuff. So, with a hosted board, we have more legal leverage to follow up, and the harassment stopped. I really do wish we didn't have to go to these lengths, as we had a LOT more freedom on our own boards, but it's what we had to resort to.

I did have some issues when you guyss changed servers at first make me wonder what happened? since I last posted ( I checked the dates) I moved to a fantastic apt for nearly a year and got a job fixing Comcast cable in the chicago are. I then eventually found out that because I moved out at 16 (some of you may remember me ranting in the issues forums so I'm not going to recap) and I graduated high school that any post school I wanted to attend in Alberta would be paid for (I just finally started yesterday) also I bought my own computer which is a tablet laptop so I never again have to share...(remembers once being banned from teh internet over spilling coke on the keyboard) also the popularity of Evanescence is waning after even myself obsessing over them for years is finally coming to a close (I saw them last January live) And it clicked that idoling someone from afar is great but Id rather be proud of my self.Ev was great when I was 14-16 but since then the band has virtually split.Amy's gotten married and well lets face it we're all not agnsty high school students anymore speaking of which what happened to deadboy? lol I can't believe how few members are left. I used to spend so much time here...

I do remember you getting banned from the computer for the Coke incident. I'm glad you have your own now, and am also glad you are back in school again. Just about can't get a great job without something, be it a degree, or a certificate. I'm finding my degree isn't doing me much good at my current job, and start school next Monday, with my daughter. I have to take more classes to get certified as a substance abuse counselor, since my AA doesn't do me any good in this field. I think I'll like school.

I am a counselor now...a DUI counselor. I used to do counseling at the school, back in the day, remember? It was my experience more than my AA that got me the job, and my experience with addictions (family addicts). The state is requiring me to get the certificate though. It's a 12 month thing, if I was a full time student. But I can't be, since I'm working.

Oh yeah I remember now...you were working with teens, right? So, basically you are adding a certificate or something similar on top of your previous studies. Hum...I though about doing something like that, but I am still undecided...

Hum...I though about doing something like that, but I am still undecided... Yes, I was working with kids, mostly teens, at a school for severely emotionally disturbed kids. I'm just adding the substance abuse certificate to the AA in psychology and sociology.

^^^But I have another question...How did you ended up working with severely disturbed kids? Is that because of your background in psychology or did you need something specific to do that?
You know, yesterday my dad talk to this lady who he asked if she had a job for me. Well, she had no job, but she had some company name to give me. Something centering around career orientation or taking care of the mental health of pple in industries. My guess is that the latter is similar to what you did with the kids, except that I would work with adult who are not that severely disturbed. In any case, both options sound interesting so at least now my job search can have a direction.

I was in school, on my way to my degree, but have personal experience with abuse, and my friend worked there, so I got the job. I finished my degree while I was there.
