She's been awake for 10 days. She's got another respiratory infection, so will be put in isolation soon. She has some brain damage, and may not walk, but then again, with hard work and PT, she could very well walk again. Good news though! Simon will post in a few days. He's extremely tired from all of this. So, keep an eye out for a new thread from him. I'll sticky it as soon as I see it.

I am glad to hear these news. It's a good thing that Juss has finally woken up. And considering how young she is, I believe that she will get through this, and walk again. It may take some time cuz her brain will have to rewire, but she'll get her mobility back, I am hopeful.
Hope that Simon will get to relax a bit now!

Justine was released from isolation, She has been given the go ahead to attempt full time PT to get her mobiltiy back, Her memory may never come back but she know what went on and she is very forgetful and tells me things about 4 times. She Told Me NO MORE SURGERY and she'll deal with whatever come her way now. She's also off her anti depressants. She is aware she won't walk and that she can have a stroke at anytime. But her will to come home seems strong. fingers crosses no more barriers.. Sorry for all mistake I have been drinking.

drinking to celebrate? I hope.
Good news though. Her will to have no more surgeries hasn't changed at all, even with the memory loss. She's strong, as well as you. You will get through it. I really do wish I could give you a big hug. One day....one day.

Easy there, Trigger. Don't wanna end up getting poisoned from too much celebrating.
OMG, just heard on the news a little girl was born with a .29 blood alcohol level! That mom had to be shitfaced for the baby to have been born that drunk.

Congrads to both you and Juss for the good news Simon! I too hope no more barriers anymore!
@robyn: What does 0.29 level of alcohol mean anyway?

It's how much alcohol is in your blood. BAC is reported as grams of alcohol per liter of blood.

Talked to Matt and Juss last night. Juss got a weekend pass. It's been a week since she's had a seizure. We're all full of hope now. this is the longest it's ever been between seizures. Life is truly beautiful right now. I think the title of the thread should be changed. ;D
