Yay! That's awesome. So they weren't nominated with "Good Enough" or some other category?

According to there MySpace blog it was just that one nomination which I think is pretty good seeing as I thought they were going to be nominated last year since Amy was one of the Grammy announcers.
Though I'm a bit shocked, since Sweet Sacrifice didn't seem to get a lot of play, or maybe it did and I was just oblivious to it all.

Yeah, I don't remember "Sweet Sacrifice" being played very often either. I would see the music video sometimes on TV, but then it just disappeared. I never heard it on the radio before. I'm surprised that they were nominated for this song as well. They probably won't win, but it's still cool that the song was nominated.

It's like that news just reached my brain. lol
For some reason, grammy nomination were equal to MTV music award in my head.
That's a pretty huge thing that Eva got nominated. Congrats to them!

Well Evanescence didn't win, I believe they lost to the Foo Fighters, but still...its great that they were nominated...
Because the academy KNOWS that Evanescence is still around!!
And...Amy looked great, I haven't always loved her award outfits...BUT she looked nice and Terry was with her, of course!
Amy and Terry (though Amy did most of the talking) were interviewed by TVGuide and I freaked out...they were TVGuides first interview..I was like YES.
Also, it doesn't sound like they are working a new album, just taking it slow and Amy is learning Harp "just because"...lol

Yeah, I think that a nomination is really good, I wasn't really expecting them to win.
And I saw those pics, and I was like "omg. they are still alived!" lol
Anybody saw the pics of John? He was there too, and with some guy with a pretty nice set of dreads.

I seen the photos of John, didn't really look at them though.
Did you see the photo of Amy at the pre-Grammy part? She was in a SHORT dress, not short-short...but still, I was utterly shocked, she usually wears dresses that are too the floor at events...and it was BLACK I've never understood why Amy always wears black, theres nothing wrong with black, but her personality doesn't seem to reflect her award show dresses...she always seems happy at award shows but looks as if she's heading to a funeral. Love Amy though.

lol at the "heading to the funeral" comment.
And yeah, I did see this black dresss...I too was shocked. Although it wasn't short-short, it was still a tad too short for my liking; I think it would have looked better if the dress would have been lengthened by 1 or 2 inches. I really liked the fact that this dress somehow reminded me of some vintage classy dress though.

i've not seen the picture of john or the short dress you're talking about.
But ive seen the ones of Amy in her actual dress. i thought it was very pretty...but it seemed to make her ass look huge.

^If you go to Getty Images and search Evanescence you'll see it, I'd post a link but I'm far to lazy.
I was going to say something similar to that dress making her ass look big, but I was going to say I think it would have looked better if she was a bit thinner -- NOT that she is fat!!! But if she was a bit slimmer, it'd probably have worked better for her.
It's funny, Amy's been talked about on the Fashion @ the Grammy shows on both TVGuide and E! Network, TVGuide didn't particularly care for the dress - I think Paul Vennoit was the only one who liked it although this one stylist said she was shocked at who the dress was made by and that Amy herself knew about this designer, but E! was quite nice about her, saying that it "was her" and stuff.

ooo thanks check out Amy flashing a bit of leg. I must say, i love the outfit!! And i know what you mean about it suiting someone thinner. I think it was probably made for people with possibly a straight cut, boyish figure. Whereas Amy is all about the curves
