Well I'm bored, I'm at work, I've done all my Paperwork, I've cleared my desk, Dusted, Tidied the book shelf, and Done all the research i have to do. I can't visit Jus yet, She has all sorts of physio today Honestly i'm thinking very seriously about changing fields, At the moment I do Environmental Law, and I'm Bored with it.. Was Thinking of Moving to Either Business or Criminal Law. Both would be awesome, Criminal i think i'd have a HUGE workload, and But Business Law is Mainly Drafting contracts, and Debt Recovery. HUGE MONEY though, and if you get involved with a big company you're pretty much made. And both would make it easier to move back to Australia. Which I've promised Jus We'd do. She's Very homesick, and Missing home Very Much. She's agreed to stick around the year. Also now being American Citizens we can keep the house here and Be jetsetters, and Live Between Countries. So now it's time for your input. Business Law Or Criminal Law? What do you think i should do? P.S I am asking everybodt thier Opinion lol

Well, as a rule of thumb, if I were you, I'd pick a career which would make me happy. I know that sounds idealistic, but if you think about it long-term, if you are stuck doing something you don't like, that'll end up affecting your life in general. Must be some hard shit to wake up every day feeling like you are off in hell. lol
Other than that, if you go all the info about each jobs (and by your post, you seem to do )I'd say go by your gut feelings. Follow your instinct. And if you don't like your choice for whatever reason, than change it. (wow. that sounds so simple put like that. )
That'd be how I'd approach the whole thing; mind you I don't have that much experience with career stuff...I can't even figure out what career I want for myself. ETA: Another way you can look at it, would be to look at your priorities in life and see how each careers impede or support them. That is another way in which things could work too. And considering this last part I just said, I'd say that, from your post at least, business woud be a good choice for you.

I studied Career Planning, so hopefully I can help you!
The last thing Mary said
That is exactly where you should start! The question is WHAT do you WANT, make a list(or something), and see how each career and decision will impact your life, and since you seem like a family man, see how it impacts that part of your life.
And say your looking to advance in whatever career you chose, look at which ones have a higher chance of you advancing "fast" in each field/which one your more likely to succeed in. It also helps to look at which ones offer you better health care, money etc.
As of now that is all I can think of, if I think of anything else I'll post it.
Good luck with the decision! And as Mary said make sure you will be happy with it.

Honestly I have No problems in Finding out about things and research but I have Trouble making a Decision, and not having Doubts. There's only really been one decision that I never had any trouble with, That was asking Jus to Marry Me, lol I met her i knew I Would do it, No doubts.
As I said, I am a very doubtful person, I always make informed Decisions but i always need Input. I'm leaning Toward Business Law (Commercial Law). Not Because Of The money, Our Money Situation is quite good. But Because YOu can walk straight into a Team, Thing is Post graduate course i'll need to do The Comm Law one. It's not difficult, But alot of work.
