Hey, guys. I figured out how to make instrumentals with Audacity. They're like the regular fan made instrumentals with the voice still able to be heard but it's faint. lol. So if you guys want any then PM me. So far I've made one of "Bleed," "Surrender," the pre-release version to "Origin," (The Piano is more prominent in "Eternal" so you're able to hear it better, so maybe someone can transcribe it *hint hint* ), and "Farther Away (Album version)."
I can make others too. And I am.

Be VERY careful with this idea!
Don't get me wrong, it's fascinating to hear how the actual music of a song is put together behind the lyrics, but we used to host an Evanescence Karaoke Album that, at the time I had NO IDEA it was actually an Official and copyrighted Karaoke Album... and Evanescence's Lawyers sent Robynn a "Heads-Up" letter asking her to remove the Album from her server, otherwise further action would be taken (she was hosting alot of media for the FoI). They also scanned both Robynn's AND my server to make sure we had nothing else on there that we shouldn't have but thankfully everything else was fine.
So this is just a warning, I guess. You're fine sending stuff like that to each other through email, but please, please, PLEASE don't share them online! We don't want any of you to get into the same trouble we did! ;D

Everything was fine except my server deleted me, completely, and I lost my domain name. Now they wanted over $300, and I didn't owe it to them, so they refused to transfer the domain name because of the money. It was messy, and horrible. Wind-Up does look for this stuff. Of course, it didn't help that, at the time, we were the third largest Ev site on the 'net.

didn't suck as much as it could have. I lost motorolastuff.com but gained fieldsofinnocence.net instead. I'd already lost my online business to the tragedy of 9-11, so really didn't need that name any longer. But, it was already paid for. FOI.net is mine until like 2012 or something.

Oh, wow. I'm sorry. I had no idea that had happened. But don't worry. I don't post links to anything except articles and to videos in posts anyway. I usually PM or e-mail like Vythika said.
Robynn, what karaoke album was it? And where did you get it? What songs did it have on it?
And are we allowed to post in this red color or this red/maroon color? Because I know on some boards they only let mods and admins post in red.

I don't care what color you post in. Shit, I'm not like that, and neither is UV (she'll always be my little UV.....*sigh*).
The kareoke that I had up here was a fan made one, I believe. It wasn't an official anything. But, I think I still have it on my hard drive.

*randomly comments*
It was the Fallen Karaoke Album/karaoke instrumentals of the songs off of the Static Heaven Tribute to Evanescence CD. (which Wind-Up doesn't even control/has rights over but whatever) It's intresting how, as far as I know, that CD isn't for sale (but used 'by name' in order to group a set of karaoke songs so they could be put easily into a .zip file. So there is no 'official' Fallen Karaoke Album, but that grouping of 11 karaoke songs is what it's called most of the time on Fourms). I mean, if you compare the actual Static Heaven CD to the instrumentals that use to be on FOI2 (before the corporate monsters got ahold of them), then you can tell they came from that...same backing vocalist (who cannot sing), but REALLY good music (the only reason to actually get the tribute album. Music was...teh awsomeness ;D) It's a shame they didn't rip Farther Away or the BMTL Remix...oh well...

They control the rights over every song on Fallen. The people who did the tribute album had to have permission to do the album. You can't even put the lyrics online without copy write infringement. The legalities are insane, but 'tis why we lost what we lost way back when. *sigh* On the up side, they didn't shut us completely down like the FMB. We were very lucky.

what is it with all of you and hard to read colours. damn stick to white =). robynn i will be forced to take administrative action against you for writing in that horrible blue. i have to highlight everything ;p. anyway ontopic!!! You will have to send them using something else other than this board because although you changed it the actual track you used was copywrited so it'll not go good.
