So I'm sure most of you know what Playlist are, but for those who don't...its a list of songs that usually have a theme i.e. your favourite songs, work out mix, dance mix, summer mix etc. So I was curious as to if any of you have made Playlist and who/what songs are one them. I made a Work Out/Dance Mix that way I don't get bored on the exercise bike (1) What You Waiting For? - Gwen Stefani (2) Pump It - Black Eyed Peas (3) Push - Madonna (4) The Way I Are - Timbaland (5) Ba Bump - Black Eyed Peas (6) Boyhunter - Skye Sweetnam (7) Now That You Got It - Gwen Stefani (8) Ultra - Skye Sweetnam (9) Heartbeats - The Knife (10) Music Gets the Best of Me - Sophie Ellis-Bextor (11) Can’t Get You Out of My Head - Kylie Minogue (12) Pass This On - The Knife (13) Babydoll Gone Wrong - Skye Sweetnam (14) Better the Devil You Know - Kylie Minogue Its 50 something minutes long, I don't actually spend that long on the bike but its nice to have more then a couple of songs. So go on, post your playlist...even if they have "embarrassing" songs on them. Plus, great way to discover new music. ^_^

I don't really have any playlists. When I work out at the gym, I just shuffle through songs on my iPod. I only have made playlists for either certain artists or completely miscellaneous playlists on my iTunes and Windows Media Player.

But playlist are fun to make I always try shuffle and it never works out for me, it ends up playing really slow or non-energetic songs...the shuffle hates me. lol

I don't mind the type of songs I'm listening to when I'm working out. It really just doesn't matter to me, but it is good to have a song that pumps you up when I'm using the excercise bike.

Well, I do have a few, but they are pretty lame. lol
Most of my playlist are contain either a single album or songs by a certain band. So I got things like "Muse" (contains 5 songs) or Linking Park (only 6 songs) or "13 ways to bleed on stage".
I do have one for grunge titled "pearl jam/nirvana". Pretty self explanatory.
If not I got:
"Blues" --> BB King and Eric Clapton.
"Blues2" -->BB King, Clapton, SRV
"Trust no1" --> a variety of songs mentionning TXF, including "The Scully song" by Eric Snider, "What about Gillian" by Marcus Krause, Bree Sharp's "David Duchovny" and many more.
Acquisition --> all my downloaded songs; includes few paramore, papa roach, Cher, snow patrol, Bon Jovi, Dinosaure Jr...
@jess: I get what you mean with the shuffle thing. That happens to me too. Sometimes there this song with heavy guitars and stuff, and then suddently it goes on to Snow Patrol or Cher. I usually end up skipping certain songs when I use the shuffle; when I feel like listening to Linkin Park, it's because I am not in the mood to tolerate Snow Patrol. lol

Mary have you thought of making a FanMix for X-Files, putting songs on a playlist that makes you think of Molder(?) and Scully. I really hope I got there names right...I almost put Mully and Scully. lmfao. I have a fanmix of a Doctor Who...*nerd* <---- Shuffle seems to be that last thing one should listen to if there in a particular mood, because it NEVER plays what you want.

^^Oh, I never though of this actually. That's actually kinda cool. Whenever I have a few minutes, I'll try this out. Not sure if I'll like it, but hey, if I feel XFile-ish, that might be useful.
lol Sculder and Mully. And it's really Mulder. But I guess depending on how you pronounce it, you might be tempted to write Molder...I watched the pilot of "Bones" the other day, and Booth (sp!) was saying "we're like Molder and Scully". I couldn't believe he actually said Molder. I mean, we're on FOX, right? Shouldn't they know how to pronounced that word? Ah anyway. I had a good laugh just because I am a nerd. lol
PS: Jess, what did you use to write down all the songs of your playlist in your first post?

Making fanmix playlist are kind of fun, they can be a pain in the ass though as well I started one...and deleted it cause I only had 5 songs on it lol Maybe he said Molder cause where he is from? I don't pronounce things the same as some of my friends, do to being from a different state. Plus, O & U sound kinda alike I wrote my playlist up in just a normal typing program...not really sure why, but that is how I did it. I always save a copy of what I wrote in the typing program just in case I lose or delete the playlist by mistake.

Rihanna, Pink & Christina Aguilera awesome I wasn't impressed with Rihanna when she first hit the scene, but Good Girl Gone Bad has proved she's an amazing singer/artist. The Christina song, is that the new one where she is talking about being superwomen/mom or whatever, haven't heard it a lot but I like it.

And it's a super bitch, by the way, hehe. =P Also, if I may update my top 10, Sally's Song now has 23 spins, bumping it up from number 10 to number 5.
