I have compiled all the the cover songs that Evanescence have performed, whether recorded/not recorded or rumored, over the years onto one list. Hopefully, I am not missing anything. Hey, that's pretty good! I think you got them all I thought, though, that Enter The Sandman was full song? Was it just a snippet? No, only part of "Enter Sandman" was performed live, I believe (at least, this is my understanding from listening to the recording from the Bumbershoot Festival). I've heard the full song on the radio before and it's a lot longer than the duration of that file (its the only version that I own, anyways. Do you know if more recordings exist?). Also, according to Wikipedia, the song contains no "the" in its title, just to let you know. I just checked Wikipedia for some of the other cover titles to make sure that I'm not making any mistakes. I've seen people put random hyphens between words in the titles for the songs "Self Esteem" and "Heart-Shaped Box." Apparently, "Heart-Shaped Box" actually does contain a hyphen in it, so I need to fix it on the list. And, oh my, at the song's lyrical meaning (I never knew that). And grrr at whoever wrote that Evanescence re-recorded the song in studio, when they actually just performed a live cover acoustically at a radio station in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Anyways, I guess that there are some new covers to add to the list now. Amy Lee is credited to covering Danny Elfman's "Sally's Song" from the soundtrack of The Nightmare Before Christmas. The new cover will be released on a new edition of the soundtrack, titled Nightmare Revisited, featuring covers from many bands and artists. I guess we'll have to wait until September 30th or for an early leak to hear it. Speaking of The Nightmare Before Christmas, the member CLens on EvThreads said that Evanescence once performed part of "Jack's Lament" between songs. He posted this in reply to a question the member PoetOfWhispers posted. It seems pretty interesting. I guess this will be considered a snippet cover, correct? But, the video that this person speaks of seems to be not in full circulation. I was thinking about putting this under the unknown category, but I'll put it under the snippet category with red font since we don't know if the media is still available. We can't be sure if this person is telling the truth or just mistaken about viewing the video as well. By the way, looking at this list again, it seems that I forgot to add the piano theme music from Halloween. Would you happen to know who composed it? I guess that I'll just look it up myself. Anyways, on FMB, I asked you if you knew how many snippet covers of "Another One Bites The Dust" exist in recordings. I only have one, but I have also watched one on YouTube from Holland. I believe there is also another one from the UK that I have never watched or heard before (I saw your post in the Pointless Topic asking Keely about it), so that would make three available versions, correct? I would like to see a response, if you don't mind me asking. Also, I was thinking that we should work on a list that includes every known version for each cover, whether recorded or not. Just look at the Acoustics Thread and follow my model in order to do the same in this thread. I like to keep the initial list and the secondary list spearate, so I was thinking that we should probably put this list of every known version in your post, since it is the second post of this thread. I quoted your post, just so that your original message is saved if you really care about it. Plus, you probably know of and own more versions of each cover than me, so I guess that you should be in charge of the list. Just edit your post and start working on the list if you can. Anyways, I've noticed your absence for the past few days, so I'm assuming that you're currently in Florida. Tell me all about the trip when you come back and I hope that you had fun!
