Amy Lee To Appear On "Nightmare Revisited"

Walt Disney Records will release "Nightmare Revisited," a collection of covers and new recordings inspired by the 1993 film "Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas," on Sept. 30.

Danny Elfman re-recorded "Opening" and "Closing" from the film's score, and Korn, Amy Lee, Plain White T's, Rise Against, Rodrigo y Gabriela and Flyleaf contribute their versions of songs from the soundtrack.

The CD also will include the movie trailer as a bonus feature.

"Nightmare Before Christmas" has become a holiday standard for Disney - since its first release 15 years ago, it's been re-released in theaters several times in both original and 3-D formats.

Huh. At first I was shocked that is was being re-released again, but then I realized this is Disney were talking about...they milk everything until it dries out. LOL

Nice to see Amy on it though! Especially singing Sally's Song. Although, too me, nobody should mess with perfection. Thank goodness its not filled with Disney stars singing the songs though

Anyways, I find it funny that some people actually wanted Amy to cover this song (in their imagination, of course) and their wishes actually became true. I even listened to "Sally's Song" one time on YouTube and imagined how it would sound if Amy covered it.

Anyways, I'm looking forward to it, but I'm not really interested in any of the other covers on that CD. Oh well... :lol: I like Danny Elfman though, so the re-recorded versions of the opening and closing scores should be good too.

I think I like the third clip the most. Amy's voice + solo piano = win! ^_^

These clips make me excited to hear to full song. I don't think I've ever heard Amy's voice sound more beautiful than it does here.
