Just talked to Simon. Juss is in a coma...but it's medically induced, so no big deal there. She still has a bit of swelling they're dealing with. Another scan is set for tomorrow (my time, it's already tomorrow there) to see what's up with that. Sometimes it just takes a while for swelling to go down. She'll be in the coma until the swelling goes down. The docs aren't saying much other than we have to wait and see when she wakes up. Simon's staying at the hospital with her. She's in a semi-private room, but the other bed is for Simon so he can be close. The nurse came in and washed Juss' hair today, as much as she could. They've told him to bring in her music and such, as coma patients can hear what's around them, so he's been talking with her and playing music for her. I told him we'd pray and send healing vibes her way, so if everyone could do that, she can draw on our combined strength to help heal.......

Err... at first, when I read the word coma, I freak out a bit. Thank God if it's medically induced.
Thanks for the news Robyn, that's a relief to know what's happenning. I am glad that Simon can stay next to her throughout of this. That'll help her so much!!!
I hope that the scan will show that the swelling have diminished...
My thoughts are with Jus, and I'll keep praying for her.

Simon has another week off from work, so he's staying close. He had just came home to shower and change and such before spending the night, and saw me online. I'm going to try to be online tonight, and the rest of the week, so he can catch me with updates. We'll see what happens, and if he has time. For now, though, she's doing all right and not in any danger that they're aware of. Just needs time, but so far so good.

^^^Yeah, from what I learned about the brain, swelling is pretty normal after surgeries, injuries or whatever. And it goes away after a while.
And I do assume that Simon doesn't have that much time free, afterall, Jus is what matters right now. But as you said, so far, so good, so we have every reason to be optimistic and keep on praying.

Hey guys, I just need some timeout the constant beeping, and the sound of the machines breathing for Justine, It's Awful. Sitting there all day and talking to her, is heartbreaking, knowing no matter what i said to her she couldn't respond.
The Scan went well the swelling is going down, ever so slowly but it is. there hoping to start waking her up by Sunday. I'm not pinning all my hopes on this, but it's a start. Right?

Sunday??
Wow. I would have thought that they would have done this earlier. But at least the scan went well, so that's really good news. ;D I am glad to see that things are starting to look up. It's a slow process, but Jus will get there.
And Simon, even if Jus can't respond, I bet that she would be really happy to hear you talk or play music to/for her. Especially right now in the state that she is. So stay strong because once this is over, you guys will be able to have a happy life epilespy-free.
*hug*Eta: I hope I make sense; I swear it does in my mind. It's almost bed time, and quite frankly, I can't think in English anymore...

Hey Simon. Don't feel guilty if you need a break! You won't be any good to her when she wakes up if you've driven yourself crazy. I'm happy to hear the swelling is down a bit. That's great news!
And even though she can't respond physically, she's responding internally....her brain is processing what she's hearing, she just can't let you know. She may not remember everything, but there are things she will remember, eventually, and in her dreams. You're doing a GREAT job. You know she loves you more than life itself....she and Emma need you, and you're doing great! Hang in there. The worst is over now.

Mary: They have to take it slow, During the Operation, There were a few complications, They weren't too serious, But they have to be careful either way.
Robynn: I know how much she loves me. And it's mutual Believe me!!
I Just needed a break, You can only be strong for so long, and I was struggling. So they told me to go come home and relax, I'm goin back to the hospital after lunch i'm just chilling out at home. And Thought i'd hang here. When I saw Justine about 15 mins before she went in i'll never forget her smile, All Knowing and she said to Me " I'll be Back soon" And you know what I believe her...

Well, as much as I don't like complications, at least they were minor.
And that ring you posted on the ctrl thread, beautiful!!! <333
BTW, I just saw you over MSN Simon. But you breezed by pretty fast, so I didn't had time to take some of your news. Hope you're feeling rested this morning. ;D Good luck with your day.

I like that ring too. See she's not really into Material Objects. She hates it when i buy her Things. She'd much rather a picnic or something. But I like to buy her things so she'll just have to accept it.
